Rallye Shell

The 106 Rallye shell is shared with the GTi and the quicksilver. It differs from other models in its rigidity and rear arch shape. At this point I am unaware of any other structural differences between the shells.
The Rallye is specifically built to be lightweight and to accomplish this Peugeot built the car with lightweight carpets trim and minimal soundproofing. This does lead to increased road noise but also the ability to hear the road surface better to judge the grip level available.

I have added a small amount of weight to the car by applying dinitrol to every surface I could get to and injecting the chassis legs in the same fashion as with the Escort. I hope this will halt the already present surface rust long enough for me to be able to get the time to clean and seal her properly.
